USC MESA Student PortfolioFERPA: USC MESA is not requesting student academic records; however, students are responsible for entering, maintaining, and monitoring their A-G courses and grades and honors and awards.

Students, parents, and USC MESA officials are bound to the following security guidelines, procedures, and practices:
- Users are forbidden from sharing accounts.
- Users are forbidden from sharing credentials such as username and password.
- Users must keep the system updated with a current and accessible email address at all times.
- Passwords must meet minimum character, type, and strength requirements per submission or registration.
- Passwords must be periodically changed.
- Passwords may be changed automatically by the system to maintain system security.
- Passwords and other credentials should never be shared on social media or with other third party services.
- Passwords should never be emailed.
- Users should never disclose their email address or password to anyone or through any other system.
- Authorized USC MESA representatives will never request your credentials.
- Do not attempt to bypass or evade system security mechanisms.
- USC MESA can revoke access at any time, indefinitely or temporarily, and with or without notice.
- USC MESA will attempt to notify users ahead of scheduled maintenance where such maintenance requires the temporary removal of system access.
- USC MESA adheres to legislative, regulatory, and/or other governance policies that may supersede this Cybersecurity Policy.
- Users must immediately notify USC MESA if they suspect unauthorized or unusual activity on their accounts, portfolio, or system.
- System provided: Times and dates of access.
- System provided: Location of access.
- System provided: Computer, device, and/or network information.
- System provided: Host names and ip addresses.
- System provided: Account details such as the portfolio that was accessed and the account owner
- System provided: Attempts to access and whether the end-user failed or successfully gained access
